How big is TB inlet??

Starting to do my cooler piping now, just need an accurate measurment of the inlet to the throttle body. Does a 3" piece of silicon pipe fit snug as it seems to be that big in the photos i've seen.

nope 3' dont fit its a 2.5" inlet..

The actual butterfly is only 60mm so it is quite small.

wrong... you'll need a 2.75" ID silicone joiner to connect to the TB,

a 3" will fit and stay with a good clamp. (i have 3" on mine and its never blown off even at 14/15psi)

Cheers, i think i'll go for 3" pipework, and squeeze a 3" joiner onto the TB.

you can buy reducer joiners that go from 3" to 2.75" will fit more snug, but its up to you bud..

stick with 3" you'll never know when you'll it a bigger one
