How to fix " Pin Dents "

Evening all, washed our car today and noticed 2 small dents accompanied by some paint just under the drivers side side mirror. Now i am pissed as they are the only blemishes on the cars body I managed to polish off the paint but there is still the dents, now where i live i share a carport with our next door neighbors and after i parked it back in there i lined up their door perfectly with the dings as also there is paint missing off the corner of their door . Now they said sorry ( WOO HOO ) as they have young kids that just throw the door open but have not offered to pay for the removal of the dents so now i am going to have pay for it. Just wondering if any one has used one of those paintless dent removal places or equivalent and how much they paid and do they work?

They are generally OK, not perfect but OK. I used one years ago with my first Silvia and they removed about 80% of the dints in the car OK. If they are pretty deep they might not come out great but it is probably worth a try for the $200 odd it will cost you.

I had a guy in south aus do my sv6 and no one would pick the difference. But the trick is to find some one who can do it with the same quality and for the same money I paid $125inc. Try one of the dealerships near you but make sure they are a "good" dealership not the sawdust in diff type. Even try the local mitsu joint to see who they use.

I had a guy from The Dent Specialist (Melbourne) come to where i work and knock about 30 dents out of my Familia for $250.

Looked spot on, even with the light behind it.

but about the dents,when i bought mine it had 3 tiny dents on the rear panel around the fuel cap,and went to a paintless panel repair shop which is also a shop that restores dodge's.and all it cost me was $30 and i stood there and had a chat with the guy for about 20 mins while he was doing it.

cant complain with that.he was very precise and youd never know there was dents beforehand,if your planning to come up to noosa for any reason soon,give us a yell and ill take you down to them

mite save some money as its kinda like a job on the side for the guy who builds $150,000 dodges for rich customers

From the info on this thread I contacted stuart from dentcraft in Perth and for about $200 he removed around 10 dents and one long groove caused from a tree out of my doors. His work was fantastic, you would never know there were dents there before. Highly recommended.

I knew about these services and neglected to get it done to my glx-r before I sold it. I would have made a bunch of extra dosh, it had small dents all over it from 4wding.

Ahh well.
