lol Jono i think everyone is seriously just mucking around, thread really doesn't need to be closed. Interesting to read why everyone chose what they did, and just because not everyone agrees on what is the better car doesn't mean the thread has to close. It's all personal opinion and no one is being nasty.

Just ignore us Jono, we are all mates just stirring each other ;)

There is nothing wrong with any VR4, unless it has a boot ;)

Jono, I think you're the only one actually taking it that seriously, I don't think anyone else here is getting upset.

Stephen, AYC is cool, thats all :)

Brad's reply made me think actually...

I dont think I've never seen a 98+ Type S Galant in MANUAL...

I know why... cause Leggy owners begged for it :D :runs and hide:

Yes, because they don't exist!

As I posted earlier at post number 36. You can't get a facelift manual type S Galant, but you can get Legnums in that combo, hence Legnums are better

I totally agree with brad and besides leggy can be more convenient to be a shaggy mobile.

Galant turns better than the equivalent Legnum, even when the Legnum has a rear strut brace.

The weight distribution argument is flawed in that it the only difference between the 2 cars is that the Legnum will loose the back end sooner than the Galant and that the AYC (if fitted) has less weight to move around and so will be more effective on a Galant.

Legnum is more useful though... So it is a hard decision to make.

So between us, Joanne and I have one of each :)
