i was quoted $1450 for a 3" metalcat cat and full stainless 3" catback with res and 6x10" polished Xforce muffler with 4" tip

too much? on the money?

also, mick said he has done 3 or 4 leggy's too, anyone here?



thoughts/comments on these guys?

Just I was told stailess is more prone to cracking especilly the downpipes in stainless.
But they do last longer if done right.

I think one of the southern boys just got a full mild steel system for 1250?

Just as a comparison, I got a second hand HKS cat-back and high flow cat (not a metal one mind you) for $580 off EBay.

Mick did mine but that was for the turbo to the CAT (including) in mild steel before the world economy went to shit for a bit less than that. Yes he has done a couple now. Be sure that you get him to put the heat shields back on.

they are good. they readjusted my catback for $55 and re welded it to extend it

i got my exhaust done there.
he's really good.
has a really good reputation and it's worth the money.

i think (but don't quote me) i paid $1495 for my exhaust and i have a 3" turbo back. with an assy muffler and i love it. it has a great sound and i haven't had any trouble with it at all....

p.s. i went to pipewerx originally for my catback and found out when i was getting my turbo back that they stuffed 2 bloody cats on it. wasn't happy. anyways,, whatever floats your boat.... =]

reason why they put 2 cats on is most cars these days have a primary and secondary cat. even evo 8-10 have them and Rcolts.

just ask them to change it to a resonator.


i asked them to do a dump and front and they didnt want to.. not enough room
