need help. Engine earth wire location

hi guys, i need urgent help

when i get my car back from repairs, i did not know but the earth wire from the engine to the chasis is not connected. It was causing some heat and sort of melted some wire coverings including the tube for the boost gauge running through at the back of the engine bay (if you look from the front of the car, oopened the bonnet and it is in the middle, just pass the engine , under the starting of the left winodw wiper, where campliance plates are).

The flat and thick wire is hanging from the chasis, not connected to the engine. where does it go? i need to hook it up as soon as possible

The wire can only be so long Jono! Just move it around and see what bolt it looks like it might have been connected to.

What work was done by the mechanic? Should help you look in the right places.

My car has about 8 extra earth wires. JAPSPECYO!!!!!

you can bolt it with the throttle cable adjuster..

pretty much anywhere you want as long as its connected to the metal part..

also maybe better to add more earth cables connected directly to the battery and engine.. helps alot with autos.. apparently..
