Stereo security Pin Codes???

Does anyone know about stereo pin codes?
My leggy came with a nice after market Japanese deck. The display screen runs and everything looks great but it wont play a cd unless you put in a pin code or it will just switch off. I have all the information on the stereo if that will help. But for now just wanting to know where i could find out this code.
I dont know if it can be reset or if the pin codes can be found on the net.
Is it worth keeping it and trying to crack it or just installing a new one?
any help would be appreciated nothing worse than having no tunes!!

I have since had a new deck installed for now. but still have the other one new in box which is a much better unit. I have spoken to kenwood and and they say i can send them the information for the code but i think i will just end up selling it now that i have music anyway
