Hey guys, during my tune the P/S belt kept flying off and to say was giving steve the poops was an understatement. after a lot of Diag, turns out the outside of the pull on the pump was damaged so was slipping the belt under high RPM.

swapped it with a spare pump i had at it. is. NOISY.

anyone got tips on swapping the bunk pully off the old pump and putting the better one on?

i figure just have something to stop the pully turning and undo the bolt. partially worried about bending the good pully though.

TIA!

Is the other pump actually bad or potentially just not bled/pulling air?

Is it boiling fluid?

Checked this afternoon, overflow does get very warm, tried bleeding it (full lock either way about 10 or so times) and didnt really do much.

Interesting, by very warm, is it bubbling? Assuming you have an aftermarket cooler is it leaking/working?
