i picked up my legnum after 14 months in customs bond last week, great
car ect, but it had a leak from auto gearbox, every stop small puddle of auto
fluid, i talked to friend at auto 1 shop and he suggested i try a bottle of auto transmission stop leak,it softens hard seals ect and should not affect the box which is working great, put it in today and went for a 20 km drive
parked the car came back and no leak , not sure how long it will work for
but for $11 it hopefully will give me enough time to save up for the g/box repair.

Dave, just buy the workshop manual and do it yourself. The torque converter seal is only $10 or something. Sure it will take a weekend, but its worth it to save $1000 IMO ;)

We'll being replacing the one in my brother's next weekend. He just bought it on Saturday but wasn't leaking when we looked over it. Just one of these things that happen but at least it didn't empty the box.
