Hey all,
Last few times i have started up the legnum i have had to hold the key foward in the starting position for roughly 3 seconds before it would turn over and start...what could be causing this? Not going to be needing a new starter motor soon am i?

low cranking amps on the battery, (or dying??)

mitsi recommend at least a 450cca, but you will find most of the ones being imported a coming with 320cca,

also could be the starter solenoid/relay thats on the way out??

I would go with a bad earthing point check them all and redo if needed. Also check the temperature of the wires leading into the starter motor after you start the car but only let it run for 10sec at most. If the leads are hot then you have a bad connection some were or a short in the starter motor some were.
