LoL, love the user name Nat, perfect description for you, pay no attention to us Matthew, we go back a long way.

Fusion Welding is where you only use the torch (no filler rod) as it starts to pool you step ( a few mm ) until it pools again then step, additionally once the material heats up you can turn the amps down a lil, it will flatten out the bead if its a lil lumpy, as the old fella states overheads are ambitious if your only just starting to TIG.
Haha no worries, I'll give that technique a crack, sounds like it'd work well to smooth out a weld. But I spose ideally I'd be good enough to get it right the first time. Still, great to know theres a way to neaten up the welds a bit! Will have a crack on some scrap tomorrow.

Its part of a camera system to keep an eye on this little bloke !

The mic on the left is tuned to the audio alarm on the cardio/respiratory monitor, if he stops breathing or his heart stops the monitor alarm screams its head off, the mic activate the system to upload 20mins of video prior to alarm and the next 20mins of video to the cloud, so when he arrives at the local hospital the doctors have instant access to the event. The red button with a momentary push activates the same process so that if the parents sees something that worries them they can give the specialist a call and see whether its something that needs attention.

If the red button is pushed continuously for 3 seconds, rings emergency services (000) the right mic and a speaker in the rear of the box is to allow handsfree comms while the parent/s start resuscitation should he decide he wants to scare the crap out of them again.
Great stuff then!
Wow, is this your little guy? Man i feel for you, hope all is well with him:love:

Yes Simon, That's our lil miracle man. @ 9weeks old, we were checking our babies and kissing them goodnight, he'd left the building (interrupted SIDS event) luckily we were able to resuscitate him and our 3month roller coaster ride to get him home began. But at this point in time Patrick, is astounding the doctors with his recovery, we're not out of the woods yet, but he's hitting all his markers. He'll be 6months old in a couple of days. SO LIFE IS GOOD.

LoL. I wouldn't want you too. Still unnerving when the monitor alarm goes off, luckily so far, its only because he's kicked off one of the electrodes or leads.

I don't think Nat or I have really slept well in the last 4weeks since he's come home from the children 's hospital, sleeping with one eye open and one hear tuned to his breathing or the CPAP machine.

But's let get back on topic, went to the local ripsubishi dealer this afternoon and ordered 20litres of Diamond Queen SP3 and filters for a long overdue service on the leggie.

"Today" might be a bit of a stretch since it was a four-day job, but... completed the 100,000km service - timing belt, water pump, cam seals and all the fiddly things associated with them.

Now for a few days to let my hands heal.

Last week I fixed my cooling issues. Some of you may have read my post a few months back. Turned out the radiator was clogged full of shit. Then I put it to the test yesterday on a long trip to pick up my new kitchen lol

Does the wreck have the bumper flare extensions? Once u got them it'll look ace, might need to trim the bumper ones to fit the canards
