Fitted my Ralliart suspension today - car now sits about an inch lower and feels much nicer through the corners.

Also picked up a Kakimoto stainless exhaust system yesterday, so the custom one I currently have fitted will be replaced (it scrapes due to the morons at the exhaust shop not fitting it right).

Thanks to the FB page, I now know what I need to hunt for at work. So that would be groundwork for mods?

Front pads & rotors on the Magna. Needed to be done. And a few little jobs like getting the sticker residue off the Galant.

Slapped the clock cover about four times to re-light the clock display each time it went blank. Looks like I have to re-do the clock fix (done once, eight years ago when I got the car)

Serviced at otago rally this weekend. Got to watch current WRC driver Hayden Paddon drive his new AP4 spec Hyuandi i20 to a 9 min 22 second lead over 2nd place. And see ex WRC driver Marko Märtin thrash a RS1800 BDA escort (the black one) into 6th place overall, putting many many 4WD turbo cars to shame.
Also helped out with one of our customers 2.3 litre FJ20 powered escort ( blue one)

Trying to diagnose an Intermittent missfire/overfueling issue that is starting to do my head in.

Replaced clutch(No idea if it was doing it previous to this as I bought car with bad clutch and ended up towing it home)
After fitting clutch would idle fine, but if you tried to accelerate out of first car would stall.
Ended up coming good after a couple of days.

Did it again a few weeks later, ended up replacing positive battery terminal, came good for a solid month or 2.
Drove to a hockey game and missfire returns, Replaced coils and came good for a day, then missfired again the next morning.

If I unplugged MAF and blip revs missfire goes away. Doesn't throw a DTC when missfiring.

Going to have to buy an evoscan cable, not having access to a scan tool or a WSM is seriously messing with me.

theres a few cropping up with similar issues atm

i swapped my maf and it made no difference, biggest difference was dialing in the TPS again. but then it could be masking something else

Yeah fuck, I've read pretty much every post on forum + been speaking with Steve.

I've just bit the bullet and ripped plugs out, they're fouled to the shithouse, They've definitely been replaced at some point since they're 7EIX but doesn't really explain why they're fouled.

Checking lead resistance I've got 0.681, 0.658 then 565.

Supposedly max res is something Ridic like 14Kohms so theoritically my leads are still in spec.... But all of this is hard to do without accesss to a workshop manual ha.

So I'll probably fork out $300 for plugs and leads and hope it comes good, but most likely they'll just foul up within 5,000 kms and I'll be back to square one.
