Hey Alan,

Found the paperwork on the airflow sensor.

I got it from Peter Thomson in the UK, it cost me 100 Pounds including shipping.

Which was $194.37 AUD.

Am only interested in recouping costs. So $195 including postage to you.

Regards

Gavin

Hey Alan,

Before accepting this though, check your fuel pump relay. This was the eventual issue with my car, and all of the symptoms pointed to the MAF sensor.

It should be on a metal bracket on the firewall somewhere behind the intake piping off the MAF.

Mine had come off the bracket and because of this was getting dirt and water into it which caused it to corrode.

Worth checking first.

Regards

Gavin

My stab in the dark, I'd say start looking in this area, possibly could be pipe on firewall that goes to Vacumn Cannister or the solenoids that has split.....

EDIT: >>>>> This cannister can also have cracking on its body, check carefully, should it be the culprit, a couple of coats of clear-coat can more often than not fix the leak.

If i turn the car off once its warm then restart it. most of the time the error will go away.
