Engine Oil cooler???

I bought the special trasko oil filter(stainlesss steel) from 3xe. I also bought a Greddy sandwhich plate that has 4 ports. 2 for oil cooler and 2 for sensors(temp and pressure).

Only problem is the filter is too fat in terms of radius and doesnt fit on the plate as 2 ports get in the way... I dont want to give up the special filter but i may have to if i dont find a solution as cooling is more important than filtering in my eyes. I dont know what to do at this stage? Does anyone have any ideas?

I've actually got the TRASKO oil filter and I was thinking of maybe using the sandwich plate for pressure and temps as well.

Have you got any photos Phong of what clearances we're talking about?

I will take fotos when i get home next week. Just working interstate atm.
I know that if you get a sandwich plate for Just the sensors and not a cooler you should be fine as ive seen the ports come from the sides when its just 2 ports.
