Can someone with a Galant please open up their boot, remove the trim panel where the stacker is (on the passenger side), reach into the exposed cavity and tell me if you find a layer of dirt, possibly damp if the car's been rain driven lately?

I dropped a nut down said cavity, and while digging around to fish it out, i noticed a heavy layer of wet grime, which means water's getting in the car from underneath, somewhere around the rear left wheel arch! If someone could check their cars and let me know if they have the same issue, that'd be great.

same, and I've just been under my car 2 days ago..

right under the spare wheel.. there is a plug/grommet.. check that if its sorta coming off.. if that makes sense.. if it is.. then clean it off.. then probably put a really really thin layer of silicon.. that way it wouldn't really be hard to take it off in the future..

I'm not talking under the spare wheel, there's a cavity to the left (and i'm assuming right, under the AYC filler cap) right infront of the tail light. I'll take some photos today...

I'll have a peek for holes next time i go outside for a smoke. Also found some tinworm in the bolt holes for the cd changer bracket. Stuffall other underbody rust, pretty good for a snow-driven car IMO
