If I buy a Apexi Neo right now I should send it back to get the new firmware installed? or how can I know that the model is a updated one that doesn't give you headaces with the karma sensor

Leaving Skid Marks
Ok guys, it is taking a long long time to install mine since, well, i am a beginner... Anyway, doing it bit by bit, day by day.. If anyone have tuned it, what would be the typical setting for it? to be little bit more specific, i have full 3 inch exhaust, HKS pannel filter and boost controller set to 12 psi. I know it sounds like a dumb question though. I just want to find out that if it is a must to get it tuned at the tuning shops.
