As most of you know I am running a Haltech P S 1000 ecu but the idle speed motor is still running of the original ecu. I will be changing the Idle speed motor to a Hlatech one that plugs straight into the loom.
Looking at the ECU pinout I know the idle speed motor connects to it but what I want to know is does the ecu for the auto trans communicate to the engine Ecu about the idle speed.
In other words if I disconnect the stock idle speed motor will the auto ecu trip out? Does the auto ecu require a signal from the idle speed motor?
