I've searched and read a few threads...
chasing some opinions on the best lead options from this list:

- Top Gun
- Magnecor
- Ralliart (NGK): Power Cable @ 270 ohms per-foot?
- ICE Performance 2000 Series 5mm (2000 ohm)

Does anyone know the real world difference between the NGK and ICE products?

Thanks

the NGK leads are the recomended units.

I have measured the lead resistance, very low resistance, so very low loss. They just work. Recomended when raising boost levels.

I've fixed the ICE lead details to 5mm and 2000Ω in your first post, Chris.

Dave have you seen a set of those ICE leads and measured the resistance on them, for purposes of comparison?

I have measured the resistances on my ice leads, and compared them to stock, they were a LOT lower, but sorry I can't remember the exact numbers (it was last July)

I Have some ICE leads sitting in my room.

What tests did you want me to do one them?

According to those product specs, the NGK leads have approx half the resistance of the ICE leads (at 900Ω/m vs 2000Ω/m, respectively). I'd be interested to see the results of some real world comparisons...

Approximately, yes.

Seeing those performance graphs, I'd be willing to bet the Net difference between the ICE leads and the NGK ones would be negligible, while the price (at almost double for the NGK leads) certainly isn't.

Tested a set of ICE leads, they came out at 1428Ω, 1763Ω and 1844Ω from shortest to longest. So between two and three times the resistance of the NGK leads. I would be EXTREMELY interested to find out if there is actually any measurable real-world difference, certainly any performance affecting difference.

How bout testing a set of Magnecors also? They look awesome and they realy sell their RF and EMS (or something like that) comparisons to the NGK's (which look shit)
They reckon their resistance on the KV85 is 2200. So not bad and possibly better insulating properties?

Whoever orders ICE leads next, ask them to make them a centimetre or two longer. The last set I saw barely reached one of plugs.
