Hey all,
Would there be any interest in a how-to on how to eliminate the OEM rubber high pressure hose for powersteering?
Mine has a slight weep, even after re-flaring the two metal ends. Below is what I've bought so far (~$60 worth)... teflon braided hose will have 6AN fittings on each end (same fittings as the fuel-loop), and will have a 5/16" (8mm) hard tube to 6AN for the rack side to re-use the o-ring fitting that goes into the rack. Haven't quite worked out yet what to do with the pump side as the OD of the pipe is ~8.8 which isnt a std imperial size. Might get a inverse flare female to 6AN male, then reuse the flare near the rear cam pulley.
Thoughts?
Cheers,
Bill
