possible egr rear window visor group buy

DISCLAIMER: i say 'possible' because im a group buy noob and am really terrible at organising, so if some wants to take the reigns, no worries, go for it

whilst bored one day i emailed EGR about there rear sun visors for galants:

so far the basic info is $65 (ex GST) plus postage, BUT minimum order is 20, i might be able to knock it down to 15 but cost might go up 15-20bucks

no word on material or colour yet (probs smoked acrylic), this is just a basic EOI


ok, THE JIST:
-egr rear sun visor for 8g galant (no leggy's sorry fellas)
-min 20
-$65.00 (plus GST) plus postage within oz
-wait time once we go is 3-4weeks

whats your thoughts on it?

also, is it just me, or the 2 pics have different styles? i like the one in the 2nd pic.


another thing. is there any options of material used? im prepared to pay more to get a fibre glass visor which wouldnt be as flimsy.

Steve, you can get Galant boot lips off ebay... I thought about it, but something doesn't look 100% right when you remove the stock rear spoiler from a Galant. Shame you can't get D-Max/SuperMade style ones though!

yeah i know hey. im still unsure about spoiler removal. if i can find the parts i want in carbon fibre i will. and do the roof black, m3 style.

btw.. EGR is an Australian based company.. which unfortunately doesn't deal with the public.. I have phone and emailed them and told me to contact mitsubishi... LAME...

yeah i know chris, i emailed there head of sales on behalf of this forum, not as a random dude....if u know what i mean

i hav emailed them again in regards to material, possible drop in numbers/increase in price and also popstage details...somehow i think i will hav 20 sunvisors posted to my door

No Problem. Was happy to pay additional for it if they had one and could add to your numbers to get closer to 20.

Also happy to pay a little more. I paid about $400 for my D-Max roof & boot spoilers for my Silvia, and that was a bargain. These are cheap as chips! One thing I'd ask though, just to check - these will be paintable yeah?

unsure tim, i hav a feelin they will be smoke acrylic like the window rain guard thingos but thicker but ill find out from EGR

if they are, all u need to do is rough them witth like 4000 grit wetndry, plastic primer, primer, paint, top coat
