I had an awesome time! (151 atw killerwasps)

I'll edit together the video I've got and post a full run down some time today.

I'm also getting copies of everyones graphs so PM your email address and I'll forward them on.

cheers

Lee

What a great event. A BIG thanks to Lee for organizing it and also to the guys and gals at ChipTorque. You couldn't hope to meet a more professional crew. I'm uploading my vid's and pictures to photobucket right now so I post the link as soon as I'm done. Unlike Lee I have no idea how to edit the video so what you see is what you get.
thanks again Lee.
Mel is so jealous.

another successful meet for the QLD members!

BIG BIG THANKS to the organizer.. LEE BUTTS!!!

glad to meet more VR4 owners.. and to the guys who haven't got their cars yet.. hope you're quite satisfied with the power outputs that you guys saw today..
I think with Lee, his only mod is the turbotech MBC.. and his car put out 150kw at all 4 wheels..
To the guys still deciding on whether to get these type of car.. the figures speaks for itself..

Peter, good to see you again.. I think this is the only 2nd meet we've had since the 1st/Initial meet with Lee.. hehe

Kevin, Glad you got yours TCL issues sorted out...
Ben, Matt, Simon, Brocky and Taras.. nice to meet you guys.. I'm quite terrible with remembering if who owns which car..

correct me if I'm wrong..
Ben (Just_Plain_Nuts) owns the SooperVR4... very nice car.. loved the kit.. and the grill.. I want it..
Matt (sorry mate, can't remember your nick here) - owns the white FL without Fogs? Nice mods in your car.. total sleeper to me.. would eat any unsuspecting "spirited" enthusiast..
Simon (Jungle), I believe you're still waiting for your Compliance.. not long to go mate..
Brocky (Brocky-X), nice FL and very nice interior too.. specially the seats.. If I had that much budget back then.. I would've waited for that model..
Taraska, I believe you're still looking for a car? hope the figures you saw today made you feel more

here's mine

chiptorque.jpg

the way I see it.. my car made..

167.1kw at all the wheels
and approximately 580nm of torque.. is that right?

Looks like you guy's had a great time wish I was there.
Our figures were 149kW, current state of mods, 3inch exhaust from Cat back.

Not quite! There are two separate lines on the graph....

At just over 4000rpm, you are producing nearly 350Nm of Torque, whereas peak power is between 4500rpm-6000rpm @ 167.1kW

Considering that these stock are 206kW and 367Nm, it's a pretty good figure!

Christian, what mods did you have on this? I remember you were putting in and taking out the MBC, etc...

mods.. FMIC, Manual Boost Controller and S-AFC 2 (not yet properly tuned) and factory exhaust..

Great work lads. Good to see they used Dyno Dynamics Shoot Out mode as most dynos in Oz run the DD Dynos nowdays.

Christian, get your car tuned and get an exhaust asap, you have a bit of power hiding in there.

Do you know how the tiptronic guys went?

will do once i get $2000 in cash.. :D but seems like it'll have to wait..

where's everyone else? I assumed that when they all do get home, they'd be on here...

maybe I've got alot of time on my hand.. :D

oh ok.. I thought the lower line were from the previous run..

i was thinking that, "that can't be right"

so I made.. 167kw
and around 348nm of torque :D

Looks like it was a fun day for you all.
What PSI were you running?

rub it in Christian no one came close to your figure after you. I managed 155.3 kw and 315 Nm from what I can tell, but I kept hitting boost cut. I still have to properly set up the boost controller ( only had car for 3 days ).
MODS Air filter 3" cat back exhaust Elect boost controller.

Thanks heaps to Lee and the crew at Chiptorque It was a great event which we will have to make a regular occurrence.
