Check out the size difference:lol:
This is a pic of the V clamps. These bolt onto the exhaust side of the turbo making plumbing much easier and neater.

Later i'll post some pics of the turbos mounted on the engine.

Yeah Steve all turbos have an exhaust housing with 5 studs. Then you have to get a flange and fabricate your own exhaust outlet. The V clamps im using bolt straight onto the housing and the pipe just clamps on, no need for fabricating or welding.
shouldnt a stock turbo have an exhaust housing :p

lol i was being a dick, seeing the turbo is so tiny and u can barely see it :p

im very intereted to see how this goes, as upgrading the turbo on my other car made the single biggest gain in performance. and keen to do it to the vr4 if its relatively easy and successful.

i think he meant it as a joke, as in the turbos are that small theyre nearly a perfect cylinder...not like shapely lol

edit: indeed he did mean it as a joke

Agreed. The outcome of this will determine whether I do a single or twin on the new Legnum....

Awesome!
Im intrigued about boring out the injectors?
What happens if you unplug your piggy back ecu is the stock ecu capable to work with bored out injectors?
I have all of the mods that i can get without the internals done or the turbos upgraded.
(not by choice – my manual gearbox is getting a rebuild, and a major service so I will be strapped for cash as well as SAYC – if I can find one )
All I am looking for is 450 Hp at the engine so I think injectors are the last thing that I need to address before I tune it.

Simply awesome. Cannot wait Rob!

So what numbers are you hoping for? My first guess would be at least 280awkw
