What is the braked and unbraked tow rating for the legnums?

Well, if its broked, I don't think it will tow much at all.

Plenty of mention of them being towing machines mate. People tow massive boats with them no trouble. Loads of torque!

Seriously now. Yeah, they're good for towing.. I've towed a vr4 with a non turbo legnum before, no troubles. If its an auto, you'll want to have a trans fluid cooler as a safety precaution.

Well mine's towing my boat fine prob around 1600kg, but not the most comfortable ride tho...
