Towing and towballs!

Hi all,

I towed a trailer back to chatswood from Western Sydney on the weekend using a dodgy towball that was previously custom made and bought second hand.

Absolutely loved it, and now keen on modifying the legnum as a more serious occasional tow car.

Ill post up a guide on flat plug wiring when I've worked it out.

Is anyone else keen on getting a decent towball setup?

So it all bolted up no problem??? Sweet. At least we have a template to work from.

Been wanting a tow bar for a while to tow my 4.5m boat around. I'm sure the legnum would be a great tow vehicle. Not many options down in here tassie. Would be great if someone could fabricate one.

Mainly legnums.

Had mine for years, towed 1690kg behind it my Legnum.
Was made by a tow bar joint in Brisbane. Wynum for about $450

Can anyone confirm if the HJ Galant Hayman Reese towbar will bolt onto the Facelift Legnum 2001? There are posts indicating it will fit late model galant VR4, but nothing about Legnum fitment. Also, anyone bought a towright bar from NZ and are they compliant in OZ?
