I had a brain fail - I knew that but it didn't come into my head to express it that way. My bad.
Either way though, whether you get done for noise with exhaust with a Varex set to open or with an exhaust without a Varex, the same solution applies - whack a stock exhaust on, pass the test and swap it back. It is no better or worse to get done for having the Varex, it just reduces the risk of you getting done in the first place. And that's why I'm getting one.
