You'll be happy (unhappy) to know I bought fusion speakers for hmm... $120/set delivered from the US. They are 270W (70w RMS apparently).
I'll run them off my 4 channel 1000w schnider amp and i'll be happy. No head unit but a 6 channel mini ITC mobo from the car PC.
Then i'll get a monoblock to run the sub, im watching an Alpine mrp-m650 on on ebay now which might not get bid up too much which i'll put a snipe on later.
Basically what I got from this thread is this:
People spend a lot of money on audio gear because that's the only way toget good quality stuff.
AND Everyone has massive opinion differences about which is the best brand to get.
So if these fusion speakers suck i'll put them in my sisters rolla for her. She will be stoked and i'll get something over $200 / set. easy. Which brand. Which ever is a comp series in a known brand that is cheapest on ebay be it Rock/Fos or Pioneer or MTX etc. etc.
