thats
AKKO, Jungle and you. nice. I better work on finding some spare cams here in nz to grind up so you guys dont have to take you cars off the road while waiting on postage!
Just trying to get my head around this...is that actually a 4th gear pull? Judging by the road speed it feels more like a 3rd gear run. Or is the road speed listed just off? For the speeds listed:
3rd gear - 2000 - 7500rpm
4th gear - 1500 - 5500rpm
Curious, if that's the case why stop the run at 5500rpm? Would be interesting to see if the power holds.
Im unsure i wasnt in the car when they dyno'd it. they told me it was 4th. and i told then to rev it to 7k RPM
next time ill be getting it on a hub dyno so it will show vs rpm
Ha as am I ive been waiting to see trents results for a while now!. aparently hes had a bit of a saga with his gearbox and other things delaying it all
For mind if all i have to do is have someone with attention to detail install them and check the alignment, then it's worth it vs other alternatives on the market *cough* RPW *cough*.
yeah swinks on cvr4 has the works eng cam gears and they are fine. only issue was the timing mark is in the wrong place on the front exhaust gear as they are made to work with 6a12tt's too.
akko you may be waiting a while on trent hes had his cams a while now.... someone needs to motivate him!
So hopefully one of these days.. the engine is sitting in my garage (NOT! in my car.. been driving the evo 7 around lol)... my gearbox is all rebuilt and ready to go and looking shiny too.. sitting on the floor in my bedroom at the moment
no time frame on returning cams.
only reason I would require them returned within a time frame was if another member wanted cams and was unable to supply their own stock ones and I was unable to source any within NZ. as my stash of spare cams has all been sold on (have 3 sets of bare cylinder heads as a result!)
In saying that trent will have a stock set he may well sell on (hopefully soon)
