Yeah the 2mm difference would be unnoticeable. Most of the time wheel manufacturers have 2 or 3 face designs and then obtain all the necessary offsets simply by machining (or casting/forging) the hub to suit. So in that case they would almost certainly look exactly the same.

Cheers, the TE37 are still very tempting as well.

Might make a phone call and depending on who has the Rota's in stock see if i can't arrange a test fit to decide between them... then comes the question of color as always.

I've done the whole dark on dark thing before, this time I think a little contrast is in order hence the white as a possibility!

With the grids, you'll need the flat face design, or +20 in the concave design

Fixed! I know how average it looks once the novelty wears off, i've had them (almost).

Lol!

I dont actually mind the flat face design. they suit fat tires though, not stretched tires

Seems a few of the Evo guys are running spacers with the +20 ... otherwise the pic below whilst not a Trigger VR-4 with CF bonnet this has all but made up my mind. Though if that's necessary for good fitment and caliper clearance I may just buy the longer studs and space out my Evo 8 MR PP rims (or not). :-D

My previous wheels which were RGII copies (KOYA RG Tek) didn't clear Brembos, albeit by about 2-3mm IIRC (Steve had to run a 5mm spacer to get them over his Brembos).

Having said that, they look more bulgey near the centre so maybe. You might have to send an enquiry from the Advan website, they list them as suited to Evo V - X however don't say which sizes clear Brembos :(

I like the idea of a rim that weighs only 7.1 kg! That and i reckon these in a custom colour will look nice.

+1 for one colour per side.

i had a look but couldnt find anything. 96.773455% sure the 17x8.5+30 clears evo brembo stoppers, but that 7mm could be the all the difference.

tom, you cant compare RGTek's to RG II's lol.

Do what I want! :p

They are similar in shape but obviously thicker as a cast rim, and not identical :(

One colour per side would be winning.

I know, I don't need pfl hub carriers, just get some stock brakes.

There are some deep concave 17 x 9 +38 on eBay at the moment for cheap.

Thanks for the inspiration paulie

Trev I'm sure you would find a willing candidate for brake-swap plus cash your way! :)
