Dodgy clock (and Replacing it with a trip computer)

I have the same prob but i havent tried having a look as yet.
My clock doesnt come back on, along with...

My front right parker
My rear right parker
My numberplate lights
My TCS light on the dash.
My Fog Lamps

just wondering if you have tried taking off some of the bulbs and replacing it?

front right parker is link to the rear right - so if it 1 goes, the other goes too..

numberplate lights use T10 bulbs.. use LED's if you wish but they are more directional compared to the conventional bulbs..

TCS? or TCL light? it lights up then goes away or it doesn't come on at all?

Fog Lamps - either compliance have disconnected it or you have dud bulbs..

go figure..

Nah all was workin the day of compliance, 2 days later, they were all gone. Ill check the globes. The dude told me that it was a fuse that blew to make some of the items to stop lightng to make it pass compliance but only lasted a day... Hmmmm

if that is the case, then there is something there that's causing the fuse to break.. possible 1 strand of wire grounding itself?

The soldering fixed the clock, works perfect

Fixed my problems today. All that i mentioned in that list was fixed by replacing one fuse! Who would a thought....
Also i went for a treasure hunt through the car and came accross some valuables...
The Galant Book And Mechanical Book! Too bad the last service history in the book is at like 58k

Alright, I'm still waiting on a final price for these but its looking to be around $10 for the LCD( I'm looking at getting white writing and black background with white back light if you want anything else let me know and ill see what I can do) The computer will be about $50 and I don't imagine the posting within Australia would exceed $10 but its hard to guess for sure without having one to get a quote on.

So, $10 for LCD $50 for computer and ~$10 (probably less) for postage within Australia. All up ~$70

How does that sound to everyone?

I wont be collecting money till I get a final answer from the computer maker but I should hear from him soon so put some money aside

I'm thinking the best way to deal with the postage is wait off on giving me the money for the postage and when they get here ill be able to advise you guys on how much is going to cost and ill get the money for postage from you guys then. Sound like a plan?
