Why are people calling the hot and cold pipes "intake pipes"?

I'm sure an argument could be made that technically everything pre-throttle body is an 'intake pipe'.

Now all you need is to keep it looking stock, but heavily modify everything underneath, just to confuse Mr Officer.

BTW is that the intake silicon hose kit sold here on the forum? What do you think of it?

Been eyeing off the pipe kit that Trotty has made and keep talking myself out of it lol.... love the look...

The silicone hose and hardpipe kit was the kit that's sold by Ivan at X3E motorsports...pretty much as plug and play as they get!! radiator hoses too!

Any reason you stuck with the SOHC instead of bolting in DOHC engine and putting your single turbo on that instead.

My English is poor and do not know if I understand.
but:
The reason I'm doing SOHC is the availability of these warheads in Poland, but do not rule out changes in the DOHC. If the car will be on the test bench I could say more about the differences SOHC / DOHC.

I am confused, mainly with regard to the box on the RHS. I assume it's an airbox with pod like mine, but I can't see where it feeds into the MAF.

Maybe it's just late and I'm stupid haha.
