GTO turbos onto legnum?

i read in HPI today that a popular mod for the VR4's is to upgrade the snails to the GTO turbo's as they are a little bigger but not big enuff to cause too many drama's.

is this true?
anyone heard of this?

what turbos do legnums run?
what turbos do GTO's run?

check search button, pretty sure i've read on here that the gto ones are totally different, and the td04's that do fit are off a subaru. Plenty of info on here and clubvr4 if you wanted to check.
