Yeah that's ok I know that it's not the first high comp motor ive built
not sure on cans yet aiming for bottom to mid rpm power so may use standard cans still
I was looking for 10.5:1 CR pistons have valve relief but may need increasing I'll get all parts and start checking clearances to see what needs to be done
I might go a bit higher but I'll get parts abs do some checks first

i believe PRISM provided information on what spec/diameter bolts to use on their Conrods

Prism rod use generic ARP bolts. and from memory the size is 3/8" diameter 1.5" such as

but don't take my word on those measurements because my memory is shocking! Check the lengths and thread size on your Prism rods before buying

ARP part number for main stud kits is 207-5401
however that part number is for the 4G63 kit which only contains 10 studs. so you need to buy two kits to get the 16 studs you will need for a 6A13TT

what studs are you using. just normal 8740 ARP material. or L-19/H11 tool steel studs like I am?

More than likely the h11 studs no point in not putting then in now I've got it apart

Do you know where I can get pistons from? Not many places sell them and the ones I have seen are ridiculous prices

Have a look into A1 Technologies studs. H11 material and cheaper than ARP

$1100 is cheap for forged pistons.
as with any automotove parts you get what you pay for and pistons are not a part to cheap out on!

Im going to be getting custom made CP pistons. for my high comp build

It was ipp but it was $1053 for pistons rings and shipping paid with paypal
I think I will go that way

How much is cp charging for that? I emailed cp but they wanted a head an sample piston to make it all up
I'm just used to building engines that have an abundance of after market parts where they are alot cheaper even for the big names but it's all part of the fun working with cars like this

not sure havent priced it yet. be well worth sending CP a piston and head, you will end up with a much better thing in the end

Yeah I would be alot happier using cp I've used then for all my builds and never had a drama.... I'll email them and find out everything and go from there but I want about 10.5:1 cr
