remove your airbox and look down.. you will then see a wire connector leading to the gearbox.. and you'll see it..

Thanks for the info.. Now I'll know where to find it when my switch stops working completely!

first pic shows how to identify it

marked in red is the clutch line leading to the slave cylinder
marked in blue is the g/box mount stud/bolt/etc
marked in green is the switch you need to replace



I dont recall removing the turbo pipes and intake, if you have the factory airbox you'll definitely have to remove that..

and from memory you'll need either 22mm or 24mm open end spanner..

and the 2nd photo shows what it looks like

my reverse lights apparently stopped working in the last week or so, just out of the blue, fuses and globes are fine, so I'm going to assume its the switch?

Quick question, do yo need to adjust the clutch after replacing this switch?

Just did mine 5th and reverse are very hard to get in:(:mad:.

Im having the same problem. Willbe awesome to have it fixed. Rebuilding the gearbox anyway so easy as to do.
