Does anyone know if the bolt holes on the R34 GTR seat are the same as brides or Recaros? I'm just wondering if I could bolt the GTR seat onto an EC5W bride rail or something or if I will have to get the Mitsubishi EC5W rails modded if I was going to do it.

I'm just thinking if the East Bear Sigma is the same seat as the OEM GTR seats and the Sigma uses bride rails does that mean the GTR seat fits bride rails?

I don't suppose anyone has a picture of the bottom of one :p

Those are for the east bear seats, only the drivers side is available and I'd be more incline to get the Skyline ones as they are OEM so should be good quality.

Here is another question, do all Recaros have a winder fo tilt or do some have a lever like our OEM seats?

Damn, I hate winder seats. Its hard to find a pair of seats that are reasonably cheap, look good and are comfortable enough for everyday driving.

Really? Damn, I kinda figured that the brand name race seats release in a vehicle from the manufacturer would have the leave adjuster. Maybe I'll have to look at putting up with a winder, hopefully they aren't as bad as commodore winders. They are the worst seats.

True, I don't even know what I want anymore. I've looked at so many seats and I cant sit in half of them. Hahaha, there is too many to choose from.

yeah i know the feeling.

im going to try and fit some mazda astina or fto seats in if i can get them cheaply. they're good cheap oem seats, so you know they're not all ricketty and sh!t.

if you see a car like this around:
1994_Mazda_323_Astina_TN.jpg

firstly, laugh at it, then go an sit in the front seats. they're comfy and so bolstered its not funny.

BAHAHA, thats what I'm looking at right now :p for the exact reasons you are. they are comfy, look pretty cool and are good quality because they are OEM and because they are a factory item they will be ADR approved or safety rated or whatever. I'll be reupholstering them to leather so I might get a bit more bolstering put in to make them grab and hold even better and look boss :). I just have to figure out if they are a bolt in job, that would be to awesome. I'm trying to find a few pictures of the bottom of the seats now but its not easy. I might make a few calls around wreckers tomorrow to see if any have FTO's. The other good thing about them is they are so cheap to buy.

Ive never sat in one of those astinas, ill have to google the seats.

But as I haven't sat in an astina seat I cant really comment on it. But I know the FTO seats are comfy and hold well.

My old Astina was a BG series, not a BA... the stock seats were shaped and sized very nicely but the foam was way too spongy.
I replaced them with seats from a Eunos 30X (MX-3) which bolted straight in. I think the BA seats wouldn't fit without modification, not that this makes any difference at all to someone putting them in a VR-4.

The 30X seats were really good, but the fabric was ugly as hell. I put covers on them lol
