Karman on the safc not hotwire which would have the potenial to damage the engine

As Pete said above, set to Karman on SAFC, not hotwire.

Mine came pre Podified too with a HKS Pod.. Runs fine, but I am aware of the hotair situation and I was looking to get a heatshield sorted for it... OR obtain a stock airbox from somewhere and put a decent panel filter in there.. (K&N or HKS)

i got a hks pod , batterie is still where it normaly is. had it dynod with and without . made no real differance . its only on there cause it was a FREEBIE . never had a problem with higher boost either . kmon everyone loves freebies

Yeah mine has the air intake that goes from above the grill to wear the airbox would usually be.. so I guess that helps to a degree, I still think it must get some hot air in there, so a heatshield would only be a good thing even if it doesn't note any real gains in power.
