Hesitantly Boosting
Hi All,
I recently Purchased my VR4 Galant from a dealership which imported it.
They have a kind of deal that it came with 3 years warrenty provided it gets a logbook stamped service every 10,000km
I'm used to servicing my cars after my last mechanic took 4 goes at installing a gearbox in my Mk4 Gti to get it right. But unfortunately due to having to get the logbook stamped I can't do the work myself.
Can anyone recommend a good mechanic who atleast has knowledge of these cars and what they require
without saying: "I've seen stuff like this, Its just like on my 3.8L commadore"
when trying to assure me that they've got a good knowledge of the vehicle.
So what should I expect to be done? and what price should I be expecting for this service?
As the car didn't come with any Japanese service books.
I was looking at a fresh start kinda thing, So Fluid drop and filter change.
I think Timing belt is nearly due aswell...
Any help is much appreciated...
