Hey guys,

Who's had their 100,000kms service done at a workshop in WA? Just wondering what your experience with the workshop was like and roughly what the labour came to?

I only want belt/water pump/pulleys/tensioner done, I don't have AYC and I do my own general servicing... I just can't be bothered with the hassle of doing the belt.

Cheers,
Ant

On the 100,000 service has anyone done it solo?
I'm going to do mine in the next month or so and was just after some feedback as to what i've got coming.

Sorry if this is a bit off topic.

Ralliart NZ?!?

Send mrmitsu a PM, he's just done his 100,000km and I think he wrote down the part numbers somewhere ...

Ralliart NZ do the cheapest parts and quick postage to Australia

Yep. In relation to what you need to get, there's a 100,000km service parts thread detailing everything you'll need, so I won't repeat that here. The only thing I've needed someone to help me with was releasing the nut on the end of the drive shaft that holds the main pulley on - I got someone to stand on the brake to remove and refit that. Everything else is pretty straight forward except the removal of the RHS lower engine mount just to get at a single bolt for the water pump. Someone at Mitsi should be shot for that terrible design decision

Cheapest compared to what? Australia? Well that's true, but getting stuff directly from Japan will save you maybe 20% on Ralliart NZ prices in my experience.

Even after you pay someone a "fee" to do so? ALA Jesse Streeter?

Yep :) I got quotes from Ralliart NZ for a number of parts some time back, while they were competitive on a couple most of them were at least 20% higher after considering commission to the parts broker. That's still WAY better than the 300% markup MMA add on though ;)

Yeh I just spoke with bill for my parts + some extras... the dude is awesome and the prices are pretty good.
