I got mine done at a place in Kelmscott.... ordered the parts from Ralliart NZ Bill is a Legend.. total cost came to $1800 inc parts.

I would not recommend the workshop though PM me if you want to know who it was.

I just got my timming belt done there and i was quiet pleased with his work

Elfe automotive was good but can see how people say it takes a while. I was cool with waiting though as he is very resonably priced and imo does good work.
Thumbs up for Elfe for sure.

Mines going to Zac @ Cypher (www.cypherindustries.com.au) next week - they also did the pre-purchase mechanical inspection, will let you know the outcome.
I've had previous cars worked on there without issues though some i'm not expecting any issues.

I'm surprised they would do it at Cypher, they seemed to be interested mostly in Nissans there? Nice guys though... I asked a few questions and they seemed very friendly.

I have been going to a place called Brians Auto Repairs on Mccoy st in Myaree, next door to Embleton Engineering. He owns a forester and is into turbo cars, a very honest guy, would never rip you off and can do reasonable prices too if your not in a hurry ($500 to change valve stem seals) He is installing the GT35R in my supra atm and helped out on my leggie when the KKR 280's were going in.

How much have others paid for the big 100kms service?

Mines going in starting next Friday, was supposed to be Monday but the place has had a hoist failure.
Since a few things need doing the big service is getting done early.

Getting lifters / timing belt / water pump / HD clutch and more done all at once, not expecting it to be real cheap - though I am supplying some of the parts...

Downside is depending how busy they are I might miss the cruise the following weekend.

Hey lads any feed back on the 100k service. Mines almost due

Do most of the work yourself i would suggest, I did the ayc myself and i bought all the parts online from a combination of camskill.co.uk and meek.

Camskill do a kit that has most of the parts, i think i just bought seals from meek. Anyway i saved myself hundreds of dollars. Remember camskills price is actually 20% cheaper for us a AUS is VAT exempt.

As for the timing belt water pump etc i had it done by automasters in ossie park. Its just a belt swap....any fool can do that, although i think they might have forgotten to reattatch my thermo fan as it fell off yesterday......:S
