I chose high street as it has ample street parking where we can meet, and then we are then able to roll around to the oval without being split up by traffic lights etc.

depends which way you go, as there are 2 sets of traffic lights plus a round-a-bout on the way to the oval if you go along brighton road and left onto anzac hwy. or if you go the backstreets way then we'll have traffic on jetty road to negotiate...which IMO would be the easier of the two options and far less crowded.
