Note fitment of Work gears also requires some grinding for clearance further to the above comment about the timing marks...

PM me if you are intrested in some more info about cam regrinds dude,

also Im currently in the process of getting the CNC mill at work setup, and the first thing I will be making on it will be a set of Adjustable cams gears.

I will be making a billet CNC cut alloy center to bolt onto modified stock gears, Will upload pictures when I have the time. but yes dialing in the cams will make a large difference

Yeah I've got a valve spring compressor I've stripped the head down to clean and get port and polished and I'm waiting to hear back from a can place in Sydney on the regrinds
I don't really want to pay for shipping to nz

Dude don't be a tight ass $1000 nz is not a lot for regrinds and springs. Shipping to nz wasn't expensive either.

Apologies for the previous post Dave:oops: It's good to see that you want to tackle this yourself. With cams as I found out bugger all workshops in Vic does regrinds and getting custom billet cams made from an Aus manufacturer is VERY expensive. Crow cams quoted me 2k a cam thats $8000 for 4 cams!

There are 2 well known workshops in NZ that specialise in cams Kelford and Kenelly. It is much cheaper to send your cams to NZ than have someone here do them and as you can see everyone that has regrinds in aus has sourced them from NZ.

larger cams open the valves further and for longer, allowing more air into the engine per cycle and therefore more power!
The stock cams are stupidly small and I don't understand why people overlook them on so many builds!

Thanks for the info, if anyone finds an aftermarket cam that fits our engines and makes a huge difference in a good way please don't hesitate to let us know

I hope to confirm soon that Adam's regrinds do exactly that once and for all...
