Thanks for that mchieff.

With the top cover now removed I am pulling as hard as I can on the clock and its not budging. I am just waiting for the damn thing to break on me! I will keep trying and see what happens.

In that case i'd be getting under and squeezing the clips together to get it out.

Yep, there is a couple I still have:

1. Gorgath
2. Gav Daniels
3. Emu
4. Wendnarb

Emu has paid so his will be sent off soon and I think Gorgath has paid too or will be shortly or something.

So, i never actually put mine in... but is there any flaws with it's design (as in software wise?)

I could create a replacement firmware for these if there is enough interest?

It's really not that hard, if you know how to solder your set. The unit is pretty accurate and the only thing I could tell was wrong with it is a few spelling mistakes here and there.

I've still got mine in the bag it came in... and I don't have my Leggie anymore!!! Is the kit Legnum only, or can I fit it in my Challenger?

Sorry Macca, only just saw this post now. I had problems with the display dying. I hooked it up and configured it, then the display died. So I bought a new display and the same thing happened. It's just been in my glovebox ever since.

I wish it would work, cause I really want to put something in that spot since I've already hacked up my clock

For anyone else reading this thread many years later and still wanting to know how to remove their clock, I dug up some photos of the clock and the surround which show the 4 vertical spring loaded clips that hold it in place on the dashboard
