Finally got it!
Now it is a Love/hate relationship I have with my new car. Took 7 months and 13 days. - I know others have done worse but it is a load of Crap... There is NO Dotors backlog, it is Shogun have all the cars going to them and plate problems. Dotors is not the problem....
Anyway, the short of it is go somewhere else unless you want to wait!!

You'll soon forget the wait and just enjoy the ride, Cam - Paul waited a year for his! (test car)

yeah, basically the original workshop were trying to rip me with some repair costs
The problem is now with dotars accepting the transfer, everything else has been done, so as soon as they do this i get my car

DOTARS was my problem, took them 17 working days to process my car 
Something I enquired about very early on. The response from every RAW I spoke to and DoTaRS (now Infrastructure Australia) was don't do it... unless the original RAW burns down or something similarly catastrophic happens.

Vince, that's right. I couldn't quite remember what happened. I knew there was something quite bad about the original RAWS your car was at.
How many people are using Complete Auto in SA? I think they're also called Leader...

Yes they are. I used them and they did a pretty good job, really quick, like 7 working days. I have just had to wait another 3 weeks on DOTARS.

This is the answer that Shogun are telling people to buy more time - Might be true but certainly not grounds for waiting any longer then a few days NOT weeks or Months. If you want to be sure check your compliance papers and check if submission date is typed or hand written. If written it shows you that you have not been told the truth on times..

In other news, stand up and take a bow VR4CE - as per our phone conversation his transfer was finally approved and can now be plated!
Blame for the latest delay is firmly on the original workshop's shoulders - how the hell does it take 4 months to fill out a bloody form???

^On that Kristian.. when can they fill out the application form for the plate? When the car arrives at their shop, OR once the work has been completed? I just want my car as soon as possible now

Only once the CVR (completed vehicle report) has been completed. This is the form that basically you fill out as you comply a car ie: check off lights, seats etc.. aswell as any mods ie: auto windows, cat replacement. Once this is complete it is submitted to DOTARS then they will issue a plate in order of applications recieved.
