Is 14psi ok?

im gettin my car tuned tomorrow..
is 14psi to high? or will it be alright?
im not going to have it running at that the whole time..
im going to have a high (14psi) mid (11psi) and low (8psi) boost settings
i'll be running it low most of the time but just wondering if 14psi is to high?

I found 14 was too high. It certainly won't break anything but boost cut is a bitch lol

As long as its not cold and doesn't spike over that it'll be fine

k.. i got new spark plugs n my boost cut disappeared..
but i was only running 12.5psi..
ive bought a emanage so that should eliminate the boost cut..

Nope, just your clutch and your fuel efficiency lol
BUt seriousley, if you have the supporting breathing mods, 14psi is fine.

i had to get a new fuel pump so that it could push more fuel out before uping my boost..
gettin it installed right now

regarding boost, i have noticed on the manual boost controllers i get a boost fluxuation soo i mite be running 14psi but it will overboost and shoot past 16psi soo i have mine set at 12psi. Apparently an electronic boost controller will rectify the problem and have you sitting at 14psi all day everday because it is running off the solenoid more safer and more power. hope that helps
