QLD Workshop Day.. June 9th / 10th

Fellas.. Steve is coming back in June, thought we better be ready and not waste time

Plan on organizing a workshop day..

say about in 3-4 months? how does these sound?

this way, owners can prepare what they would like installed or serviced..

I for one would like the following installed on my car..

- new injectors with matching fuel rails
- install aftermarket fuel regulator
- install catch can properly
- complete my pipework - and re-do the pre turbo pipes..
- install the COP along with the spark plugs
- major service? clutch as well? we'll see

please provide your preferred date that we can all agree on... I wont add a poll for now until we see a more tight schedule..

I want to flush my ayc, probably need your laptop and help with that one Christian. Might also do spark plugs if I can be bothered, drinking beer with paul sounds like more fun though.

Dunno if I'll need to do anything. It's months away so who knows what might come up. Beer is vital though.

Work im gonna get done before prob be fmic and pipes with intake aswell, exhaust, fuel rail and fuel pump should do.it nicely

I agree, It would be good to have a workshop day I about a month and have another closer to the tune date. That way anything people don't get to do on the first one can get it done on the 2nd one

Wouldn't mind trying to track down my coolant leak and testing for boost leaks. Anyone have pressure testers for both?

I like the idea of having 2 workshop days.. also, I would prefer it this was done on a weekend rather than week days..

anyone got an idea for a place where we can hold this on?

I think we'll have about 6-8 cars but might have more..

i would be keen. dont know much about the mechanical side of things though. pretty sure theres something wrong with my ayc/brakes/steering/suspension. had a workshop machine rotors, replace the steering rack n stuff, but just doesnt feel right. would be good to get an opinion from another legnum owner/someone who knows wtf they are doing.

storage King in Cleveland have large ware houses.
I wonder if the will let us rent it for a day?

I have a few things that need to be done over the next couple of months before tuning is worth while, so if I have something still waiting when this kicks off I should be there.
Need new hard pipes installed, find a stock air intake to replace hot air sucking pod filter, probably new plugs as well.

I called storage king. They said no. In there policy they dont allow work to be done on cars on site, due to fire hazard.
Also they said that would be the same for all storage places.
So ill keep looking around.
