Big thanks to trev and Christian for working on my car while I sat down and watched. And thanks to Christian and his parents for letting us use his place, be great if we could do that more often

It was good to meet a couple more vr4 owners and put some names to faces.

Bit sad my diffs actuator isnt responding to evoscan but it does seem a little better around corners already, but I havent been able to test it properly yet.

NO probs mate, pretty simple stuff. Sorry for getting us lost and taking so long for me to get organised.. Swear i need a handbag. It should get better the more the pump is used. In a few 000 k's, we'll drop and fill again then it will be perfect.

Chris, dunno what's if what was wrong with your actuator/ayc but it wasn't communicating.. try unplugging cables and plugging them back in..

Hey man, the car is running really well! Much much smoother, better power delivery and boosts much better. Only had one time where it it juttered for like 1 second and was all fine from there. Possibly the faulty coil packs.

Thanks to your and Trevors help the car is back up on its legs again! It is very much appreciated.

And yeah thats fine so long as you dont set it on fire haha

With Chris's car, did you try to log the ayc system with evoscan and then try to make them operate? I seem to have to do this on a lot of cars....

Steve, I tested out the actuators from Chris' car... fan low + fan high.. they both worked.. but when it got to the AYC.. nothing seems to work beyond the ayc control unit.. I was able to clear the error messages though..

tested the evoscan on Stan's car and it worked.. everything worked.. so possibly something's not right, something needs a jiggle on Chris' car..
