Sorry mate cant wait till then the car is already pulled apart and i need it back together for sundays cruise.
refer to workshop manual 22-6. Helps you remove the bits.
As a novice the bits that took me the longest were as follows:
- finding the screw under the cup holders hah
- my shifter came mostly assembled so I found removing the positioning pins to adjust the height painful with the tools i had available.
- connecting the lower bush back into the selector cable, discovered I was being too gentle.
Feels good ... I like it... just gonna try swap out these bushings on the other end of the shifter cables with these skateboard bearings i got off ebay per a clubvr-4 thread.. wondering if that'l take up the slop on the shifter.. also need to lubricate the ball with some grease.. didnt have any today.

Has anyone else done this little mod with the skateboard bearings?
I'm not sure if I want the full short shifter just yet but it sounds like these bearings may just fix the annoying sloppy feel the gearbox has.
