Price seems fair.

First you'll need to bore the centre of the wheels out to fit a Mitsubishi hub. Most wheel places can do this for about $50 a wheel.

The facelift flares will need to be removed to roll the inner guard and then trim the lip off the flares. Not as big of a job as you might think. The flares come off pretty easily.

255/34 tyres; forget about it. I'm running 235/40s and that's the maximum width you can go without looking off road and smashing your guards. I previously had 225/40s on and they fit much easier. There isn't a lot of stretch with a 235/40 and is the best tyre option for the wheels in terms of keeping the rolling diametre with the stock wheel. IMO 255/35 would look stupid on a 9" rim.

Camber, roll and pump gards or over fenders? Just like the idea of something so fat and oldschool on pfl.

I was only kidding. It will stick out very far. The amount of pump you need on the guards will crack the paint. Offset is important too but basically, if they're a suitable offset the best case scenario with a lot of guard work and super low, it will still be a bit mexican.

Orderd some 18 8.5 +35 :)
Now do i want 225 40 or 235 40? Is the stretch with the 225 anything to worry about? And will the 235 leave me enough room? Cheers :)

SO... If i am reading this correctly, and i think i am.... We shall see :D

A wheel with the dimensions of 18x9 @ +30/35 would sit ok with a set of 235/40s??

The car is lowered and has Tien coils.

I am ok with rolling the guard a touch if i need to but, i'd rather not.

So, going back inside the guard might assist in NOT having to roll guards?

The issue is... does it look dicky having a lot of gap?

I think a drip to the panel beaters is worth a better fitment.

Anyone out there with a pair of 18x9s with +25/30 offset??
