I will have a pair of 20mm bolt ons available in just over a week ;)

IMO you should paint the wheels a light colour, make them look bigger.

Lachlan, please pm me when you do. Thanks.

Oh and they are 18'swhy would I wantthem to look bigger? Just need to lower my car more ;)

Yeah the bright orange is not the subtlest colour in the spectrum that's for sure.

Maybe not but it looks AWESOME! Hahaha, looks good on that Evo.

What rims are they anyway? I like the style.

They are Work Emotion XT7's. I was contemplating getting them in 18x9.5 +30.

Trevor I'll send you a PM when my Evo V wheels are on and my spacers are available.

They look pretty damn sexy. I bet they are hell expensive though.

The dark red that Paul posted on the first page is what I was going to suggest. Looks amazing. Have seen it done on a set of Uras Exsols (one of Luke Fink's 3,000-odd old cars, I think) and it looked sensational.

Sandblasted> primer x whole can per wheel> sanded back with 800 til smooth> 1.5 cans color> 3/4 of can of clear> two bourbons> now waiting 4 hours and a couple more bourbons until i can cut and polish it.

Looks nice Trev, love how it changes color depending on how the light hits it.

Another little update.

The thing i dreaded the most has happened. It seems that the cut and polish is simply not cutting i. So i have reverted back to sanding. First with 1500 then smoothing it out with 3000. Then after that, cut and polish.

The finish is "acceptable" but maybe i am being uber critical. I=This is going to take a very long time. If i cannot work out how to lay the paint down "smoother" on the other three wheels, i reckon i am going to be on these for weeks.

What do you guys think of the finish so far? BTW, i had to use a flash outside as there is nearly zero sun (Looks like rain is coming)
