The thermostat, fuel filter, spark plugs and o2 sensor would the other four things not on the purchase list (that i can think of). Going local produce for the fuel filter,o2 sensor, spark plugs and thermo.
Sky's the limit i suppose, could end up being a 10kg parcel if i keep going!! Currently its estimated at 5kg but not yet confirmed.

and besides your "local produce" that's all you're replacing for the 100k major service?

I've got mine due in 2000km's and still dont really know what I should change.... the sky is really the limit...

Might be worth your while getting a quote from him for the thermostat kit too, as they were a lot cheaper there last time I checked.

Code:
CAPS DESC PART NUMBER OLD PART NUMBER PRICE AU PRICE JP
THERMOSTAT KIT MD337408 MD175746 $62.48 ¥1,785

Yeah i think that sums up most of the parts, maybe ignition leads, at the mo the timing belt is the greatest worry!!

Is that including freight to your door and his fee?
Price is total parts price + 4% paypal fee.
Fee is around 3800yen , freight has not been confirmed since the goods are not with Jesse yet, fair call really. Estimated around 8000yen for freight to WA.

Thanks for the reference, will also ponder on that thermo. No local aftermarket ones to be had? Tridon brand of some sort wasnt it?

Since the Repco NGK O2 sensor clearance is about over and getting the $30 O2 sensor is near impossible I thought i'd post up the part number for the universal Bosch item. Repco was able to sell me one for $96 (low as they would go) while the NGK one sells for about $150 off sale. Anyways:

Automatic Transmission Low & Reverse Wave Spring

2741A007 - SPRING,A/T L-R BRAKE WAVE (replaces old part# MR534166)

~$10 AUD (quoted $12 NZD ex-GST from Ralliart NZ)

I'm pretty sure that this is the solid one-piece wave spring needed to strengthen our boxes, but if anyone could confirm it that would be great.

Taken from the Back to Galant website, where you can also find a heap of other manuals.

Part numbers are printed on the covers.
