Is that over $1700 for the complete alternator? Ouuch

Could be wrong, but I think if you buy the alternator assy it comes complete with regular and brushes etc. I just got a quote on the lot to help me decide on rebuild or a new unit.

haha yeah if I was paying that would be the best idea. Fortunately the dealership finally decided to answer my phone calls and has agreed to have it fixed. At the moment Im using my foot as a regulator, 2.5k rpm seems to keep the battery warning light away :p

Well the original part numbers (original MR216132, replacement according to Mitsubishi's Parts distributor MR513005) for the A/C condenser don't actually work any more, according to Mitsubishi Japan. However they were able to cross-reference my VIN and came up with the following, from Mitsubishi Electric:

CAA311B104 - - - ¥34,650

And yes, you read that correctly - apparently that part is manufactured and supplied by Mitsubishi Electric, not Mitsubishi Motors - go figure!

Kudos to Jesse Streeter for helping to figure this out and chase up pricing :)

Flags: airconditioner condenser; aircon condenser

Is the Part number for the Auto ECU a Pre or later facelift?

It's not a preface number but I would have to check ASA when I got home tonight to confirm the years of the ones listed

Engine Control Unit (ECU) MT . . . . . MR578135 . . . . CAPS ref: 82522
Engine Control Unit (ECU) AT . . . . . MR578136 . . . . CAPS ref: 82522

its 110A, maybe the reason for it costing more then the average alternator. Most car seem to run 75A or so?

From the parts number guide:
Oil Seal 35-50-8mm replaces MD372536 . . . . 400445P . . . . . 5.70
Oil Seal 37-50-6mm replaces MD372536 . . . . 402040P . . . . . 5.50

Does that mean both sizes of the oil seal fit??? Doesn't seem right...

Hey guys,

It seems that there might be an error with what is listed in the parts number guide for the oil seals.

I've been doing a lot of calling around Mitsubishi dealers. Apparently MD133317 supercedes to MD372536, which is supposed to be the FRONT seal.

The rear seal I believe remains to be MD180402. I will confirm when this ordeal is over!

Do you have any idea whether these clips can be used to fasten the plastic undertray that sits under our engines?

Do you have any idea whether these clips can be used to fasten the plastic undertray that sits under our engines?

dunno about the first pic, but will find out.. will measure the ones current on my under tray.. unless someone can do it quicker than me :)

about the 2nd pic, i think they're the bumper clip.. but I also know that they fit snuggly..

so will order a few types to try out and let you guys know..
