OK, I just spoke to the guy at Kamikaze about this. Apparently they don't handle their ebay listings directly - it goes through a third party agency that also does carsales listings or something like that. So the person putting the ebay listing together doesn't necessarily know what kind of car they're talking about. And then of course to get the listing corrected, they have to deal with the same layers of bureaucracy.

So hopefully they're not idiots. They didn't seem like idiots to me when I bought my car, nor in any subsequent dealings I've had.

And it looks like I might be driving my car by the end of the week

Ben could something like this be imported, but skip compliance (and use for parts?) Or is that not legal (even if the vin plate is removed?). Or would it need to be cut in half to be alloud to do that?

Sweet price huh? It was fluked at a tender auction.

Gilly: half cut is the way you're supposed to do it. If you can find a compliance workshop who would agree to it ($500 their way and them not using all of their plates each year would help) you could bring the car in and then have them cancel the car, you would have to provide evidence of the destruction of the chassis within 12 months, you could take everything off it though and destroy the chassis only.

Definitely an Eclipse, another one of Mitsi's creations.

Spotted a Super VR-4 for sale. To my knowledge, this is the fifth one in the country.

I know there's one in QLD (Ben's), there's mitchy's, mine and one more sold through Kamikaze.

Whether the red and silver Galant Super VR-4s make it here (from J-Spec) is something else to consider.

Are there any others that we know of?

Sadly yes, but I was too busy grimacing through most of it I think my brain has permanently blocked most of that film from my consciousness, thank god!
